Before the start of the FIA Formula 3 season in March, Théophile Nael is already in action, competing against talented drivers in the Formula Regional Middle-East championship. This weekend in Abu Dhabi marked a spectacular start to the pre-season for our driver from Saint-Etienne.
A well-deserved 2nd place in Race 2
Théophile impressed right from the start, taking a superb 2nd place in Race 2. He held off his rivals to finish just behind Kenato Le and ahead of Enzo Deligny.
Thanks to intelligent race management, Théophile secured his podium place by widening the gap to Deligny. He needed only a few seconds to take first place, demonstrating his immense potential.
A spectacular comeback in Race 3
In the final race of the weekend, Théophile showed off his talent with some daring overtaking moves that thrilled the spectators. Starting in 8th position, he made an exceptional comeback, eventually finishing in a respectable 4th place. A few more laps and the podium would have been within his grasp.
A promising overall ranking
Thanks to these performances, Théophile is currently ranked 3rd overall after this first weekend. These results augur well for the next meeting, scheduled for January 22, when he will be looking to confirm and improve on his performances on the Abu Dhabi track.
