That’s the answer of a champion! After losing his hard-won podium in Race 1 following contact with Taylor Barnard, Frenchman Théophile Naël took advantage of the penalty and his demotion to 8th place to start from 3rd position on the inverted grid and win Race 2 ahead of Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak and Mari Boya.
The Tricolore leapt into action at lights-out, overtaking poleman Ugo Ugochukwu and Thailand’s Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak from the very first corner. Sovereign, he was never troubled afterwards, not even when the Safety Car pulled out at the end of the race. Spanish F4 champion, the Frenchman confirmed his sparkling form by winning the race. It was also the first success for the French Saintéloc team in the category.
